The Events and Webinar Specialist is responsible for generating, acquiring, and preparing materials and information for use in the production of live, virtual, and hybrid events, while driving brand awareness and exceptional customer experiences through productions and events in the D.C. Metro area. The duties of this role include planning, coordinating, hosting, and facilitating sponsorships, conferences, signature events, other industry, service line and regional events with the Marketing Events Lead. The Specialist will also support scheduling for webinars and virtual events alongside the Production Manager to develop engagement activities, scripts, video production elements, talent coordination, and platform management.
This role will support gatherings and productions in drafting content for promotion of events and work cross-functionally with colleagues across Marketing Technology, Digital Marketing, Business Development and Learning departments. They will also work closely with the Go-to-Market team during the planning process where events are a key part of a marketing campaign. The specialist will help coordinate giveaways, signage, and marketing collateral ensuring consistency of brand, experiences, and overall messages for the event, and providing day-of logistical support for both in-person and virtual events as warranted. This role will assist with the event coordination and logistics including supervision, planning, ordering, and shipping materials as needed to local offices in helping to coordinate regional event activities. This role will also assist in tracking budget spend and ROI for in-person events and opportunities that result from virtual events and productions.
In this role you will:
Support the day-to-day planning and execution of client-facing webinars, virtual events, corporate events, industry and service line conferences, including pre and post-event communications and attendee management; Assist with key industry and service line initiatives, trade organization involvement and execution of joint events
Collaborate across the Marketing department and Knowledge team, when needed, to contribute to meeting design, agenda development, brand building, and event communications and marketing; Provide ongoing marketing support and material development for all event initiatives
Provide consistent and clear communication of events program to all stakeholders, including internal briefing documents for specified events, webinars and conferences
Assist in organizing event materials and creative decisions; Follow-up with attendees for success stories; Collaborate and share reports with stakeholder and the Business Development team
Coordinate webinars and virtual events alongside Production Manager to develop engagement activities, scripts, video production elements, talent coordination, platform management, scheduling, etc.
Assist Marketing Events Senior Specialist in preparing pre-event checklist items, hotel rooming lists, BEOs, and setting up and dismantling events efficiently through to completion
Collaborate with event, promotional and print vendors as needed in conjunction with design team
Partner with content team to develop strategies leveraging existing content and access to industry communities to promote events
Work closely with the Industry and Service Line Marketing Leads in strategic planning of events calendar
What you bring to the role :

Experience organizing and coordinating multiple events simultaneously with strong attention to detail and management of priorities to meet deadlines

Previous professional experience in a marketing, production, event planning or administrative role
Professional services (law, accounting, consulting firms) experience is a plus
Experience working on virtual events with live streaming or broadcast components
CRM system knowledge and experience with Adobe Creative Suites is a plus
Ability to work autonomously/independently when necessary in a virtual work environment, while maintaining connectivity with the Industry Marketing Lead and other members of the marketing department
Bachelor's Degree in marketing, events management, communications or journalism or related field
Minimum of 2 years related experience

The hiring range for this position is $60,000 - 80,000 annually.
