Job Overview

The Account Manager is the outside salesperson managing all aspects of the business with strategic customers in a country or region. The Account Manager is responsible for developing and implementing strategic account plans to drive maximum revenue, account penetration and customer satisfaction. To ensure complying services and project realization the position requires a close working relationship with multiple different functions within TE. Its crucial to drive cross functional collaboration between Pricing, Quality, Customer Care, Engineering and the sales field resources to exceed customers service and support expectations.

Strategy for local Lithuanian, Latvian and Estonian Utility customers, as well as Lithuanian headquartered operating corporations (ESO) need to be followed and redefined to drive these and TE in their business to largest possible success.

Business leadership, strategic account planning and high-level relationship management are some of the major tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Selling the value propositions of TE Connectivity’s products and services

  • Understanding the customer and the customer expectations/requirements

  • High level decision making and influencing

  • Regular interaction with the customer to follow up on quotes, projects, delivery and quality issues

  • Selling and conducting negotiations in the scope of products for the electrical power

  • industry

  • Technical advisory of the offered products

  • Preparation of offers for tenders and technical documentation

  • Searching for new projects in the area of responsibility, creating a solid project pipeline to ensure long term growth

  • Preparing and conducting presentations for customers

  • Constant monitoring of the market situation and the effects of competition on a specific area of activity

What your background should look like:

  • Must have minimum a bachelor’s engineering degree (preferred specialization of power engineering, electrical engineering) or equivalent level of practical experience

  • knowledge of the energy market and customer requirements

  • At least 2 years’ experience in sales of electrical equipment and accessories

  • Ability to establish and maintain business contacts and negotiation skills

  • Engagement, independence and communicativeness

  • Good understanding of technical complexes and relationship management

  • Fluent in Lithuanian, English (German language proficiency is also a plus)

  • Ability to travel for business trips in an unspecified working time

  • Valid driver’s license

  • Good organizational and communication skills, both written and oral

  • Proactive and responsive to customer (internal and external) requirements

  • High level of numeracy/attention to detail

  • Good time management and ability to prioritize tasks

  • Experience in building relationships and to influence across functions

  • Ability to work in a team environment

  • Self-starter, able to work on own initiative with minimum supervision

  • Have a professional and flexible approach

  • Ability to confidently represent the company in a professional manner
