We are inviting applications for the position of VP/Director of Finance, based in Vineland, New Jersey. This role is pivotal in our industry, with a focus on budgeting, forecasting, management, and month-end close tasks. Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage the financial budgeting and forecasting processes
• Lead and direct financial management strategies and operations
• Ensure timely completion of month-end close activities
• Develop and implement financial risk management policies and procedures
• Coordinate with other departments to align financial objectives and operations
• Analyze and report financial status and performance to management
• Develop strategies for financial performance improvement
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
• Oversee and manage the financial team, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment
• Participate in key decisions as a member of the executive management team.
Requirements
• Proven expertise in Budgeting and Forecasting
• Strong management skills with the ability to lead a diverse team
• Proficiency in handling Month End Close procedures
• Must possess a strong understanding of financial regulations and legislation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports
• Strategic planning and exceptional numerical proficiency
• Advanced computer software skills, including Excel and financial reporting software
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• Professional accreditation such as CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) or CPA (Certified Public Accountant) is preferred
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to operate under strict deadlines and within the parameters of departmental and company guidelines
• Demonstrated leadership ability, confidence, and executive presence – ability to motivate staff.
