Naval Education and Training Command ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT ASSISTANT in Virginia Beach, Virginia

Summary You will serve as a ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT ASSISTANT of CNATT UNIT OCEANA. Responsibilities You will knowledge of military rank/rate structure, pay, travel regulations and experience in validating/processing pay, travel, and travel order requests. You will utilize computer systems such as Navy Standard Integrated Personnel System (NSIPS), Defense Travel System (DTS) and other Command Pay and Personnel Administrator (CPPA) systems. You will safeguard Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) while coordinating, preparing and verifying those personnel documents and information is relayed to supporting organizations according to policies and standards. You will provide a full range of clerical, administrative and customer service support for Staff and Students. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate following: 1) Having knowledge of military rank/rate structure, pay, travel regulations and experience in validating/processing pay, travel, and travel order requests; 2) Utilizing computer systems such as Navy Standard Integrated Personnel System (NSIPS), Defense Travel System (DTS) and other Command Pay and Personnel Administrator (CPPA) systems; 3) Safeguarding Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) while coordinating, preparing and verifying that personnel documents and information is relayed to supporting organizations according to policies and standards; and 4) Providing a full range of clerical, administrative and customer service support for Staff and Students.
