Robert Half Commercial Lease Administrator in Virginia Beach, Virginia

Description

We are looking for a Commercial Lease Administrator to join our team in Virginia Beach, Virginia. The individual will play an integral role in the Real Estate Property/Facilities Management Industry, handling crucial tasks related to commercial lease administration.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the various stages of lease tracking and manage leasing systems effectively.

• Draft and circulate lease documents based on templates and ensure timely tracking of automatic renewals.

• Maintain a comprehensive database and records of lease documents.

• Set up leases in Yardi and ensure tenant compliance while tracking tenant encumbrances.

• Create and send out New Tenant Welcome packages and draft New Tenant Acceptance documents.

• Assist with asset management tasks such as preparing monthly report templates and contributing to the annual budget process.

• Review annual CAM reconciliations related to budgets and estimates and resolve disputes related to CAM reconciliations.

• Follow up and support with accounts receivables and send out annual tenant CAM estimate letters.

• Draft vendor contracts based on property management provided parameters and maintain vendor information.

• Track receipt of monthly property management reports and expense variance comparison reports.

• Assist in consolidating reports and email work order summary updates.

Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Commercial Lease Administration role or similar

• Proficient in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Experience with Billing and Data Entry

• Knowledge of Invoice Processing

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with Yardi software is preferred

• Strong understanding of Lease Contracts, Lease Documents, Lease Renewals, Lease Terms, and Lease Transactions

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• High attention to detail and accuracy

• Proactive problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred

• Must have a legal right to work in the United States.
