Position Description: NTS is seeking a Seasonal or Intern Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Field Technician to join our team! This is a temporary position beginning in May. Primary accountabilities include, but are not limited to: Collect samples from various construction and mining sites; Perform detailed record keeping of site and sample information; Conduct compaction tests for soil density, including safe handling of the nuclear device; Conduct field concrete tests, including temperature, air content, slump, and cylinder creation; Create appropriate reports on the computer; Maintain all equipment used in the field; and Follow all NTS safety rules and regulations and maintain a professional demeanor as a steward of the company.
