Senior Planning Manager

Abu Dhabi

Parsons is looking for Amazing talented Senior Planning Engineer to join infrastructure project in Abu Dhabi.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Provide leadership for planning and scheduling, progress measurement, and reporting for the entire project

• Provide guidance, direction, and specialized assistance to planning & reporting staff, interface with clients, and attend regular meetings

• Develop, implement, and maintain project controls processes, procedures, systems, and tools and monitor compliance

• Provide guidance and direction for the resolution of planning and issues as they arise

• Setting up Primavera Project Management System P6 for program management across the planning team with all stakeholders

• Assist in preparing the Integrated master programme for the project

• Assisting in the consultants & Contractors’ selection process for Tendering and technical evaluation

• Assisting in establishing/delivering formal reporting arrangements on project progress for the client and project

• Arranging project controls workshops/meetings to discuss and assist contractors/consultants to close their project control issues

• Review & challenge any claims and EOT requests

• Assist in developing the document control system and communication flow for the project

• Reviewing consultants & construction programmes received and analyzing them in line with the contractual requirements

• Ensuring procurement, material, and submittal logs are created and maintained

• Able to assess and analyze the impact(s) of design and construction changes and schedule slippages.

• Coordinates execution of effective Project Risk Management across the project.

What Required Skills You’ll Bring:

• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or construction management with a minimum of 15+ years of post-graduate experience in infrastructure projects.

• Good knowledge of the design process and construction methodologies

• Experience in the application of Primavera P6, and Power BI.
