V2X Deputy Program Manager in Bahrain

Overview

Reporting to the ISA BOS Program Manager, the DPM supports the development, implementation, coordination, and management of the ISA BOS Program in Bahrain. With the authority to act for Vectrus Systems Corporation, in the absence of the PM, and has responsibility for the overall effective management and allocation of the resources necessary to meet contract requirements, deliverables, and technical performance in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS).

Responsibilities

  • Establishes policies and procedures for performance and control of all project business management functions and technical support.

  • Ensures that quality standards are applied to all levels of the work and measured for effectiveness.

  • Monitors the performance of department, branch, and section managers/supervisors and the submissions of required reports and Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL).

  • Leads the Vectrus Systems workforce in implementing partnering with Customers to continuously improve performance and business relations.

  • Serves as the principal liaison between Vectrus Systems and the Customer on this contract in the absence of the PM.

  • Directs and approves contract modifications, approves budgets, monitors contractual performance, and costs, and takes action to correct discrepant conditions.

  • Provides guidance, direction, and supervision to Finance and Accounting, Human Resources, Training, Security, Safety, and Environment.

  • Responsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance of company programs or subsystems of major programs.

  • Coordinates the preparation of business plans, proposal work statements, and specifications, operating budgets, and financial terms/conditions of contract.

  • Acts as primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customers to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance.

  • Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules; identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications.

  • Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions.

  • Directs the work of a diverse employee population assigned to the program.

  • Ensures that quality standards are applied to all levels of the work and measured for effectiveness.

  • Performs other duties and assignments as required.
