Located in the business and leisure hub of the city, InterContinental® Bahrain offers its guests the perfect location from where to explore the exciting face of Manama. The hotel offers 304 spacious rooms including 4 club floors and 36 luxurious suites. Each room is designed to meet the needs and the expectations of the modern traveler. A little taste of your day-to-day

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

  • Greet guests warmly and provide exceptional customer service.

  • Take accurate food and beverage orders over the phone or through digital platforms.

  • Ensure that orders are entered correctly into the system and communicated to the kitchen staff.

  • Provide detailed information on menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods.

  • Confirm guest preferences and dietary restrictions to tailor the dining experience.

  • Coordinate with the kitchen and service staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.

  • Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and professionally.

  • Maintain knowledge of daily specials, promotions, and hotel services.

  • Assist in the preparation and setup of in-room dining trays and presentation.

  • Uphold cleanliness and organization in the in-room dining area and equipment.

What we need from you

  • This job requires ability to handle multiple incoming calls.

  • Arabic speakers are preferred.

  • Minimum of one (1) year experience in 5-star hotel or similar environment.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Basic knowledge of food and beverage offerings.

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in order-taking.

  • A friendly and positive attitude with a strong commitment to guest satisfaction.

  • Proficient in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and other relevant technology.

  • Reading and writing abilities are utilized often when recording orders, completing paperwork, etc.

  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
