Key job responsibilities

  • Build services that handle billions of requests each day from eero devices, mobile apps, and internal tools

  • Architect data systems that process data at scale

  • Collaborate with peers across Engineering, Product, Design, and Security to shape our product vision and build exciting end user features

  • Enhance and optimize existing services to improve reliability, scalability, and flexibility

  • Define, design, and develop the tactical direction of our data architecture

  • Provide mentorship to other cloud engineers and help change development processes to increase developer productivity and project predictability

About the team

We are growing the eero B2B Product Engineering (BPE) organization and are looking for a motivated and experienced software engineer to help us build word-class software that is scalable, highly available, maintainable, and secure. We support B2B customer-facing features by building APIs, tuning models, scaling systems, processing data in real time, and powering low latency/high volume data features. Our goal is to build products, features, and services in partnership with other organizations at eero to better serve our customers.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience

  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience

  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
