Ford Motor Company Senior ADAS In-House Software Engineer in China
ADAS in house feature & software development for program launch.
ADAS Data Analytics Platform software development for strategic decision making & quality / user experience improvement.
ADAS local solution bring-up software development & integration.
ADAS embedded software design and development on Linux / QNX for next generation ADAS system.
Software function and unit test development, validation on bench or vehicle in real CAN / Ethernet traffic.
Develop simulating software to efficiently validate and evaluate performance of ADAS feature & software based on C/C++, Simulink modeling. Carmaker, CarSim etc..
ADAS modeling software development based on Simulink.
Feature software performance optimization based on cloud data, logging, self-developed monitor SW etc.
ADAS data analytics software development to analyze feature usage / performance, monitor potential issues for user experience / quality improvement and strategic decision making.
Utilize Ford standard software development process and toolchain during software development, e.g.: CLion, GitHub, Gitlab, Sonarqube, CPP-Check, Google test, Jenkins.
Provide software related support to ADAS teams especially on ADAS ECU / ADAS feature application.
Education Qualification: Bachelor’s degree or above in electrical engineering, Automation, software, Aerospace, Controls Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
No. of Years of Experience: 5+ years related development experience.
Professional Exposure (Technical Skills):
Solid experience in C/C++ source code development / porting on embedded ADAS / IVI etc. platform with good quality and performance for production.
Solid experience in embedded software design and development for automotive, industrial, or aerospace/military applications with proven success in a fast-paced, multi-functional engineering team environment.
Experience in software development with at least one language of C/C++, Simulink; OS: Linux, QNX, Android native, AUTOSAR or other RTOS(s)
Preferred previous experiences:
Familiarity with ADAS software development or sensor modalities used in robotics or autonomous driving applications.
Experience developing software which meets functional safety requirements.
Experience in Simulink modeling development.
Develop simulating / debug software or tool to efficiently evaluate / improve software performance, validate software, fix issue.
AUTOSAR classic MCU software development.
Functional Skills: Good sense of ownership, quality, delivery on time.Good English communication skills.
Behavioral Skills: Strong logical thinking, good teamwork. Excellent can-do attitude and executive ability.
