Xylem Sales Support Engineer in Cote d'Ivoire (Ivory Coast)

The main purpose of this position is to provide sales support and customer service for distributors, customers and sales team for Xylem Africa.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide Sales Support to customers, distributors and sales team
Attending to phone, online and Sales Force enquiries.
Communicate stock availability, pricing, freight charges.
Attending and assisting walk in customers.
Give sound technical advice to customers and distributors
Generate quotations
Evaluate enquiry specification and identify suitable product.
Identify conversion opportunities as and when required.
Selection of product as per customer specification on Xylect.
Support sales team with selection of products and accessories
Liaise with Applications Engineers and ITC for complex enquiries.
Check pricing and stock availability on SAP/ Iscala.
Ensure correct commercial terms appear on quotation.
Give accurate margins as stipulated in company policies and procedures.
Amber Road Vetting
Communicating quotation to customer (internal/external)
Updating requests/quotations into Sales Force.
Communicate quotations and offers effectively, professionally, accurately.
Ensure efficient and timeous response to customer queries.
Regular and consistent follow ups on submitted quotations.
Customer Service
Provide customer with Xylem equipment and service information.
Provide regular customer re-assurance and ensure customers are fully satisfied with Xylem’s equipment, service and capability.
Provide customer with immediate on-site problem solving and solutions.
Keep regular contact and build mutual trust and respect with customers.
Understanding and attending to customer needs.
Communicate needs to Xylem Sales and Order and Logistics teams.
Liaise with Order & Logistics team to validate orders against the quotations.
Maintaining Housekeeping
Ensure work area is clean and tidy at all times
Maintain a neat and orderly environment within the overall area
Adhering to Safety Regulations
Conduct operations in a safe manner as per safety standards
Report any unsafe working conditions and incidents to your Supervisor
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Qualifications
National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Bachelor’s Degree will be an added advantage
Minimum Experience
2 years’ experience in a Pumping environment
Experience in Water Technology & Equipment would be an added advantage
SAP and/or Iscala experience will be an added advantage
Preference will be given to candidates proficient in French
