About the role
Responsible for developing, coordinating, documenting, monitoring and implementing maintenance/facility projects for buildings under their responsibility.
Implement improvement strategies for critical systems (Cleaning, pest control, compressed air, air conditioning, water treatment systems, fire systems, etc.) providing technical support to other members of the department and keeping facilities procedures up to date.
Key responsibilities
• Negotiating with outside vendors/contractors for supplies, repairs, and capital purchases.
• Scheduling repairs, renovations projects, waste reduction improvements, and safety inspections.
• Plans, budgets, and schedules facility modifications, including estimates on equipment, labor, materials, and other related costs.
• Conducts periodic inspections to determine maintenance work required.
• Ensuring operating requirements, building codes, and safety regulations are met.
Requirements
• Technical degree in Mechanics, Mechatronics, Electronics, etc and Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineer or related careers.
• Minimum 2 years of experience working in similar roles within medical Device Industry or other regulated industry.
• Experience in management and repair of air compressors, emergency power generators, UPS and HVAC systems, Housekeeping and Pest Control programs.
• Ability to handle design programs: Autocad, Solidworks, etc. and to read technical drawings and design of mechanical parts
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office programs, i.e. Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Fluent in oral and written English.
• Availability to work on-site
