Job Description
Oracle Consulting Services MEA delivery team located in Cairo Egypt, known as Pharos, is growing and expanding its business. We are looking for experienced EPM Consultants, capable of working with our customers to lead solution delivery development on their EPM cloud strategies, architectures, and roadmaps, who can join us immediately and grow with us. The candidate should have a very good understanding of Oracle EPM solutions, industry best practices, multiple business processes, or technology designs within a product/technology family.
The EPM consultant is responsible for working with our customers to design and configure business solutions leveraging the Oracle EPM Cloud platform. This will cover functional areas of the EPM portfolio including financial close, financial planning, and reporting.
The EPM Consultant should be able to:
Operate independently to provide quality work products to an engagement.
Perform complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment,
Implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer needs.
Apply Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practices.
Act as the team lead on projects and conduct effective communication with the management of customer organizations.
Demonstrate proven expertise to deliver functional and technical solutions on moderately complex customer engagements.

Strong Financial and Functional background
Over 5 years of proven professional experience as practitioner and/or implementation consultant/Lead, either working with Oracle EPM solutions within a consultancy or working within a company finance function.
Must have at least 3 full lifecycles implementation experience in implementing either of this EPM / technology (Oracle EPM Suite (E-PBCS, FCCS.)
Strong awareness of the broad Oracle EPM Cloud applications suite of products and how they integrate together and within the broad Oracle application estate.
Knowledge of Integration tools - ODI, FDM etc shall be considered an advantage
Apart from Oracle Hyperion (Hyperion Planning and HFM) and Oracle EPM Cloud solution (PBCS, FCCS, ARCS, Narrative Reporting, Tax Reporting, Data Management, dashboards utilizing ad-hoc queries, Smart View, Financial Reporting reports ) knowledge, strong awareness of one or more EPM application products available in the market will be a plus.
Design, develop, test, deploy, and support solutions for business automation on Oracle applications and functionality.
Build and maintain Essbase Outlines, Calculation Scripts, Business Rules, Dimension Builds, Data Loads and Batch Automation Scripts.
Functional knowledge of major business processes in financial reporting, planning and analysis
Experience of business process analysis, systems analysis and design, and technical/functional solutions delivery
Experiences in Financials business process area for core engine, UAE, KSA and typical integrations
Superior ability to understand, articulate and address business issues, business drivers and needs.
Able to plan and facilitate design sessions. Able to conceptualize a solution of significant scope, across multiple business processes.
Very good presentation and communication skills
Ability to build rapport with team members and clients is essential.
Ability to travel across MEA as needed.

An exciting, high-profile opportunity exists to join our growing Oracle Consulting MEA Delivery team (known internally to as Pharos team) as a Senior Principal EPM Consultant or an EPM Workstream Lead for Oracle Cloud implementations across MEA region depending on your experiences. Your role will be to implement Oracle EPM for customers typically across MEA and typically involves the following:
Work with the Project Manager and Solution Architect to plan the EPM implementation project workstream
Analyse customer business requirements, and define solution parameters and specifications.
Map requirement with Oracle Fusion EPM capabilities.
Conduct formal workshops with the client to agree the solution design, displaying knowledge of the business environment in defining the customer’s needs.
Work with offshore and/or local team(s) to configure the solution.
Support business comparison test plans and activities
Assess business and technical impacts of solutions.
Perform software version control and maintain a periodic compilation schedule.
Conduct the knowledge transfer to the customer.
Ensure project accomplishment on time, on quality, as contracted, and meeting customer satisfaction.
Act as a Mentor to coach and train junior consultants.
