The Team:

The Global Real Estate Project Management Team is a dedicated group of professionals focused on providing complex IT Infrastructure solutions to support the needs of Global Real Estate. The group is fast paced and detail oriented. Our team must be able to liaise and bridge the gap between IT resources and the business/customer community that we support to provide appropriate solutions for S&P Global.

Responsibilities and Impact:

  • Responsible for managing a portfolio of Digital Solutions projects within the Global Real Estate space.

  • Overseeing quality control throughout the project lifecycle across infrastructure for a program of projects.

  • The portfolio of projects would primarily include, but would not be limited to, EMEA based efforts.

  • This is a ‘hands on’ role and will require the individual to build strong productive relationships with managers and staff across IT and with external third parties to deliver effective solutions based on a thorough understanding of the business drivers for each party.

  • Working closely with the local technology managers, and remote technical teams, you will lead the required resources, focusing on the delivery of IT change as agreed. This is likely to include teams that span various IT functions and various 3rd party suppliers. You will be expected to bring these teams together while resolving issues in the

What We’re Looking For:

Basic Required Qualifications:

  • Experience working on multiple projects with non-dedicated resources and working with resource managers for same.

  • Experience working with technical teams, such as: Infrastructure, Network, Security, VMware, Storage & Backup, DBAs, and end user compute.

  • Have a strong customer focus, well developed influencing skills and the ability to work in a fast-moving environment with rapidly evolving targets.

  • Working understanding of project management methodologies such as PMI, Waterfall, and/or Agile/SAFe is preferred.

  • Comfortable managing changes pertaining to your projects through the company's change management process.

  • Working Knowledge of Microsoft Project as well as other MS Office tools (eg. Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.)

  • Familiarity with the Serena Suite of tools would be beneficial.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • Capable of working with people at all levels within and external to the business.

  • Ability to think strategically and be able to translate thinking into tangible plans to drive the business to achieve its agreed goals.

  • Able to operate fully in a business facing role, whilst having the technical competence to lead the IT technical teams.

  • Ideally, educated to degree level in a business-related subject or equivalent experience in a business or IT environment
