Your opportunity
Work with the Intermediary Sales, Southeast Asia team to develop new business opportunities, and to actively service Janus Henderson’s existing book of business within the region
Develop strategic relationships with senior gatekeepers and their team members.
Work closely with internal teams (Product, Marketing, Client Servicing, Fund Operations, Strategic Accounts team, etc.) to ensure that all client requirements and/or requests are promptly met
Conduct market/fund updates as well as actively plan for new fund launches
Contribute to maintaining a team culture that is open, communicative and collaborative
Assist with Southeast Asia business development initiatives including product planning, AUM / flow forecasting, and client mapping analysis
Support broader distribution initiatives in the region and globally
Perform and ensure client servicing requirements are met
Be a pro-active participant in the Hong Kong funds industry. This includes participating in industry conferences and key client events with the purpose of promoting the Janus Henderson brand
Carry out other duties as assigned

Must have skills
Extensive experience in sales and senior client management within the Asset Management industry
A proven track record in generating strong business results in the Hong Kong and China markets. Experience in serving the retail segments in a plus.
Possess a strong knowledge of mutual funds / investment products covering all major asset classes
Able to simplify and articulate investment concepts in a structured and coherent manner
Recognised business / finance degree or equivalent qualification. CFA chartered holder is a plus.
Fluency in English, Mandarin & Cantonese as this role includes coverage for Greater China and Hong Kong markets
Strong public speaking and presentation skills. Presenting to retail segments is a plus.
