Exciting opportunity for an experienced Investigator to join Lenovo's global Ethics & Compliance team!
Description and Requirements
To help enforce our core values of integrity and trust, Lenovo is seeking an experienced investigator to play a key role in Lenovo's global ethics and compliance program. The position will be based in Budapest reporting to the Investigations Manager in Ethics & Compliance.
This role will support the success of the ethics and compliance program and have responsibility for the following initiatives:
Independently lead and conduct comprehensive fact-based objective internal investigations into alleged breaches of internal policies, or laws and regulations in a thoughtful and timely manner
Conduct professional investigative interviews of personnel and third parties, which may involve sensitive topics
Author clear, detailed, objective, fact-based reports of assigned investigations, and maintain well-organized, accurate, and complete case files
Assist in the management of the internal investigation processes, including the system of record and corresponding case files
Support training initiatives on internal investigations for the company
Support drafting of reports or communications regarding compliance investigations and other compliance-related current events to raise awareness and promote a speak-up culture
Build and maintain effective working relationships with business functions of Lenovo’s Investigation Oversight Committee, and members of Legal, Human Resources, Internal Audit, IT, and Security
Work collaboratively with members of the Ethics and Compliance Office on various global initiatives to enhance the Ethics and Compliance program
Serve as Ethics and Compliance liaison for the Hungary office
Qualifications and skills:
Minimum of 5 years’ experience independently leading investigations on behalf of a corporate legal or compliance team or a law enforcement agency
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
Must speak English and Hungarian
Exceptional written and oral communication and organizational skills, including the ability to construct and deliver presentations
Prior experience in investigations related to ethics and compliance areas, including anti-bribery/anti-corruption, fraud, embezzlement, financial controls, conflicts of interest, harassment, and fair competition
Experience supporting anti-bribery and corruption compliance programs in multi-national organizations
Demonstrated integrity and a commitment to the highest ethical standards and values, including proven ability to maintain confidentiality
