As the Head of the Clinical Data Management within our Hyderabad Hub, you’ll be responsible for establishing and leading a regionally based, future proof, multi-functional Clinical Data Management team in a complex and rapidly evolving context. The Clinical Data Management team in India include Data Management, Clinical Programming, Clinical Data Standards, Data Integration and Centralize Monitoring.

Main responsibilities:
People: (1) Lead multi-functional Clinical Data Management teams, including their performance and development. (2) Ensuring the training, mentoring, up-skilling, engagement, development, and recognition of his/her team members to maximize their potential, performance, and overall success. (3) Ensuring the recruitment of new talents (4) Ensuring efficient management of resources.
Operational Performance and Delivery: (1) Ensuring operational alignment, consistency, and identifying synergies across global functions. (2) Participating in global harmonization and optimization of operational processes and standards while fostering innovation and continuous improvement. (3) Driving and supporting his/her team planning and Clinical Data Management related task delivery, eventually achieving operational excellence across the whole data value chain.
Modernization: (1) Within the Clinical Data and AI Processing organization, support the transformation/modernization of Clinical Data Management throughout its end-to-end data flow. (2) Ensuring adoption readiness of the Clinical Data Management hub in India.
Stakeholder: (1) Maintain effective relationship and leadership within our global Clinical Data Management team while ensuring regulatory compliance and reliability of the clinical trial results.
About you
Experience : Strong Experience in clinical research and strong Leadership and people management experience, with managing and supporting global teams.
Soft and technical skills : Deep CDM operational expertise and a robust understanding of the ongoing industry changes in clinical development as well as the transformation required of the traditional clinical data management roles to enable evolving clinical development needs.
Up to date on regulations regarding clinical data collection and clinical data standards such as: ICH E6 GCP (Good Clinical Practice Version 2), Artificial Intelligence (AI), GCDMP (Good Clinical Data Management Practices), data privacy, and new regulations like GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) and ICH E8 on General considerations for clinical studies covering Quality by Design (QbD)
Work experience in complex clinical IT environments and related processes
Proven ability to simplify complex processes , and to develop guidelines and tools for large groups.
Thorough knowledge of clinical operations and clinical data processing
Up to date knowledge on clinical data management systems and data flow
Successful experience working in close collaboration with functions like medical operations, biostatistics, DM/stats programming, clinical quality, and Digital.
Experience in Clinical project management, process improvement and/or Digital implementation in CDM strategy, digital innovations, or risk-based monitoring implementation.
Languages : Excellent communication skills, both oral and written in English
