STUDIO is the strategic content agency who work across both News Ireland Urban Media. We create campaigns for our clients and agencies that harness emotions to change how people think, feel and act around commercial brands. We do this by telling stories that entertain, excite and inspire the audience reached by all News Ireland’s and Urban Media’s platforms.

The Team: Our team is truly multi-disciplined with expertise across digital, video, print, radio, events and social. We pride ourselves on our editorial and commercial expertise and diversity of skill sets thatgives STUDIO the ability to find and present the most compelling stories. To date we have created successful campaigns for Audi, SEAT, Heinekin, Ballymaloe and Beweley’s.

Your Role: The Creative Lead will work across multiple campaigns and partnerships to maximise effectiveness in terms of raising awareness of the brands, and engaging our News Ireland and Urban Media target audiences. The Creative Lead is responsible for working on the delivery of our brilliant ideas and storytelling; from client brief to pitch through to sale and delivery.

Day to day you will:

  • Work with the STUDIO team to generate, develop and produce original ideas and content strategy to client and agency briefs.

  • Be truly platform agnostic when helping the team to deliver content across platforms with due consideration for both commercial brand effectiveness and audience user journey.

  • Be the client contact from briefing through to delivery ensuring that you build strong client and agency relationships in conjunction with project managing the delivery of campaigns.

  • Commission writers /creatives, negotiate and secure talent contracts.

  • Be an expert in all of the relevant News Ireland and Urban Media brands, their platforms and distribution channels– how they work, what audience they reach, how best to use them.

  • Take responsibility for editorial and creative costs and budgets for campaigns, and report regularly to your key stakeholders.

  • Build successful relationships and gain the respect and trust of clients and internal stakeholders.

What we are looking for from you:

  • Proven ability in managing a brief and or project from conception to execution.

  • Knowledge of optimising operational tools and systems, and experience of developing technical roadmaps, can drive large and complex media-related projects, and can lead discussions with cross-functional teams across the company.

  • Ability to develop good relationships with media agencies and clients directly.

  • Experience in a creative line of work and or commissioning content and talent for print, video, digital, social and other platforms.

  • Good communication skills, and the ability to explain a concept or idea clearly and succinctly to clients and internal/external stakeholders.

  • Be well versed in digital advertising metrics and social media-specific concepts with an understanding of execution formats and creative best practice for social media networks.

  • Proven experience in managing campaign budgets and reporting to key finance stakeholders
