Kuehne+Nagel Contract Logistics Safety & Health Manager in Italy

Your Role
As the Safety & Health Manager, you will play a key role in the implementation and management of health and safety standards, ensuring compliance with local laws, regulations, and company policies. You will provide expert advice and administrative support on all health and safety matters, coordinate risk management strategies, and conduct training to ensure a safe working environment for all employees. This role requires certification as "Addetto Servizio Prevenzione e Protezione Aziendale" (ASPP) or "Responsabile Servizio Prevenzione e Protezione Aziendale" (RSPP).
Your Responsibilities
Implement and coordinate safety and health strategies andstandards, such as ISO 45001 certification.
Oversee and supervise health andsafety reporting system, review and monitor KPIs in collaboration with the HSE localteam and ensure adherence to company policies.
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance withsafety policies and procedures.
Perform risk assessments to identifyhazards, evaluate risks, define and implement preventive / corrective measuresto mitigate safety hazards.
Drive continuous improvements in HSEprocesses, including incident investigation, CAPA (Corrective and PreventiveActions).
Develop and execute annual Health & Safety Training Planat local level in coordination with the RSPP and QSHE team.
Conduct occupational Health &Safety mandatory training in coordination with the RSPP of national QSHE team
Coordinate M.D. on MedicalSurveillance of workers at local level
Lead by example, fostering a supportive and inclusive workenvironment that values diversity.
Promote employee engagement and talent retention whilemanaging team well-being.
Your Skills and Experiences
Bachelor's Degreerequired. (Tecniche della Prevenzione nell’Ambiente e neiLuoghi di Lavoro preferred)
ASPP or RSPP certification valid (Italian Law Decree81/2008) mandatory.
Trainer Occupational Safety &Health Qualification ex art 37 Italian Law Decree 81/2008 mandatory.
Trainer Occupational Safety &Health Qualification ex art 73 (work equipments) Italian Law Decree 81/2008preferred.
Few years of leadership experience.
Few years of national experience atthe same role.
Fluent in Italian and English (advanced level).
Strong proficiency in MS Office (Advanced user).
ACAD user
Proven ability to foster collaboration, promote feedback,and drive solutions.
Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement andcustomer excellence.
