Job Description:

L3Harris is seeking a Systems Engineering Senior Specialist to sustain the Integrated Broadcast Service (IBS) system for our location in Naples, Italy supporting the US Department of Defense.

• Develops complex technical solutions to allow US Forces to access IBS

• Maintains equipment, ensures proper system operation, updates software, performs critical equipment alignments and troubleshoots complex software, system and equipment utilized with IBS

• Integrates system upgrades to existing operational processors

• Coordinates technical requirements with system users throughout multiple locations and resolves technical deficiencies

• Provides technical support to the complex system architectures and monitors system utilization

• Responsible for software operating verification prior to network implementation

  Qualifications:

• Active Top Secret/SCI Clearance

• Possess and maintain a CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification

• Must be willing to relocate to overseas location

• Able to work non-standard and extend hours depending upon customer mission requirements

• Thorough knowledge/understanding of computers, networks, and cryptographic equipment operations and sustainment

• 4 years’ experience with IBS network operations and sustainment

• Education and years of experience

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.

  Or 10 or more years of equivalent knowledge and experience

  Preferred Additional Skills:

• Operational experience with Common Integrated Broadcast Uplink Site system
