The Boeing Company is seeking for Software Engineer (DevSecOps ) to join Enterprise Boeing Software DevSecOps team. This position requires the candidate to have a full-stack mindset and be involved in continuous improvement of the software development environment and tools.

In this role, you will help guide the Boeing Enterprise transformation of DevSecOps across our business units. The successful candidate will design, implement, and maintain a modern system deployment to the cloud environment with a Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) workflows for system build, test and deploy in containerized microservices.

Work Information:

  • Work Location : Asem Tower (Samsung-dong)

  • Work Type : Hybrid (Work from home & office)

Position responsibilities:

  • Develop and Enhance our DevSecOps operations in multiple Cloud Service environments

  • Perform in the entire software development life cycle of the DevSecOps tool chain

  • Collaborate on idea creation and development of the Software development tool chain

  • Support the ongoing lifecycle maintenance of the DevSecOps tool chain

  • Support the software quality efforts of our Boeing product deliveries to our partners and customers

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Hands on demonstrated experience developing software using an Agile framework

  • 3 or more years’ experience with modern software development methodologies and ability to automate processes

  • 2+ years’ experience with Cloud technologies, such as AWS, GCP or Azure

  • Proficient within at least one programming language, preferably Python, C++, Java, etc

  • Experience with Automation and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) techniques and design patterns

  • Strong communication skills and a self-starter that can thrive in a distributed remote work environment

  • Proper English communication skill in verbal and written

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Have the ability to set up, and manage a tool-chain using tools such as GitLab, Bazel, Jupyter, Sonartype, ELK, SonarQube, Googletest, Collaborator Docker and more

  • Experience working with and supporting systems with Linux Operating System (OS)

  • Strong Working knowledge of the CI/CD process including debugging, test, and integration of software tools

  • Understanding of secure software development methodologies and Security First minds

Typical Education & Experience:

  • Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 to 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years' related work experience, 5 years' related work experience, etc.)

Relocation:

This is for an international, locally hired position. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the country where the position is located. Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not on Boeing US-based payroll.
