IHG Multi Skill Technician in Kuwait

Key Responsibilities:

1.Maintenance and Repair

  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.

  • Troubleshoot and repair issues with HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and kitchen equipment.

  • Conduct minor carpentry, painting, and plastering tasks to maintain the hotel's aesthetics.

2.Electrical Systems:

  • Inspect, repair, and maintain electrical systems, including lighting, outlets, and circuit breakers.

  • Ensure all electrical installations comply with safety regulations and hotel standards.

3.Plumbing Systems:

  • Maintain and repair plumbing fixtures, pipes, and drainage systems.

  • Address and resolve plumbing emergencies such as leaks and blockages.

  1. HVAC Systems:
  • Monitor and maintain HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.

  • Perform seasonal maintenance and repairs on heating and cooling equipment.

  1. Guest Room Maintenance:
  • Address maintenance requests from guests promptly and efficiently.

  • Perform general repairs in guest rooms, including furniture, fixtures, and appliances.

  1. Safety and Compliance:
  • Adhere to safety protocols and hotel policies.

  • Ensure compliance with local building codes and safety regulations.

  • Participate in emergency response and safety drills.

  1. Inventory Management:
  • Maintain an inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies.

  • Order necessary parts and materials to ensure timely repairs and maintenance.

  1. Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.

  • Report major repair needs and potential safety hazards to the maintenance manager.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification is preferred.

  • Proven experience in maintenance or as a multi-skill technician, preferably in the hospitality industry.

  • Proficiency in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general maintenance tasks.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Good communication skills and a customer-service orientation.

  • Physical ability to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects as required.
