IHG Multi Skill Technician in Kuwait
Key Responsibilities:
1.Maintenance and Repair
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
Troubleshoot and repair issues with HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and kitchen equipment.
Conduct minor carpentry, painting, and plastering tasks to maintain the hotel's aesthetics.
2.Electrical Systems:
Inspect, repair, and maintain electrical systems, including lighting, outlets, and circuit breakers.
Ensure all electrical installations comply with safety regulations and hotel standards.
3.Plumbing Systems:
Maintain and repair plumbing fixtures, pipes, and drainage systems.
Address and resolve plumbing emergencies such as leaks and blockages.
- HVAC Systems:
Monitor and maintain HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
Perform seasonal maintenance and repairs on heating and cooling equipment.
- Guest Room Maintenance:
Address maintenance requests from guests promptly and efficiently.
Perform general repairs in guest rooms, including furniture, fixtures, and appliances.
- Safety and Compliance:
Adhere to safety protocols and hotel policies.
Ensure compliance with local building codes and safety regulations.
Participate in emergency response and safety drills.
- Inventory Management:
Maintain an inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies.
Order necessary parts and materials to ensure timely repairs and maintenance.
- Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
Report major repair needs and potential safety hazards to the maintenance manager.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification is preferred.
Proven experience in maintenance or as a multi-skill technician, preferably in the hospitality industry.
Proficiency in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general maintenance tasks.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills and a customer-service orientation.
Physical ability to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects as required.
