IHG Night Auditor | Hotel Indigo Auckland in New Zealand

About us

At Hotel Indigo, we welcome all guests into our neighbourhood and share our love for the place we call home. We inspire them to explore and discover different perspectives, so every one of them can create new stories of their own.

Later this year, Auckland will welcome New Zealand’s first Hotel Indigo to the neighbourhood. The “City of Sails” will set the backdrop for this boutique upper-upscale hotel, drawing inspiration from local artists for its design, service, amenities, food and beverage. The 225-room hotel will be part of a mixed-use development in Auckland Central, with stunning views of the city and Auckland’s iconic harbour.

To bring Hotel Indigo Auckland to life, we're on the hunt for a Night Auditor. As Night Auditor, you'll be responsible for responding to and resolving guest requests overnight and assisting our Night Manager and Assistant Night Manager with the completion of night audit functions.

With the hotel due to open later this year, we're looking for someone who is able to jump in and get stuck in as soon as they're able.

A little taste of your day-to-day

  • Being part of this pre-opening team will see you setting this beautiful new hotel up ready to receive its first guests

  • You'll be a first point of contact for guest requests overnight, responsible for handling their queries and delivering a memorable guest experience

  • Support audit requirements, and maintaining procedures for security of monies, credit and financial transactions, guest security and inventory control

What we need from you

  • Ideally prior experience in a Guest Services/Front Office/Night Audit/Finance related position or a desire to learn and gain exposure to Night Audit operations

  • System savvy and particularly well versed in Microsoft Excel

  • Strong attention to detail, financial acumen and sense of ownership when identifying issues and solutions

  • A passionate team player, ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise workloads

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Full working rights within New Zealand with no restrictions
