Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Superintendent to join our team! In this role you will get to provide expertise and technical assistance to a team managing ongoing operations at a northern mine.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Monitoring Work packages on site
Reporting back to site Managers and Construction manager
Creating tracking mechanisms for T&M work on site and tracking
Providing weekly summaries of work packages
Helping with constructability issues
Helping enforce safety
What Required Skills You’ll Bring:
10+ years of experience in construction or operations leadership
Prior experience working in northern mining environments
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
Good organizational skills, with ability to manage and prioritize several assignments simultaneously.
Willing to work indoor and outdoor in various elemental conditions including rain, snow, heat, cold, etc. and comfortable working in extreme climates
Proficient computer skills -Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.) are a must.
Ability to lift up to 20 kg.
Valid class 5 driver’s license.
