Be part of making a critical difference
You will be joining a talented QA team that delivers critical components allowing our customer to securely run their business. With the primary aim of supporting engineering and product teams, you will directly influence and shape Akamai's Core platform capabilities and project directions. You will use agile methodologies and Java tech stacks to develop exceptional testing frameworks.
As a Software Development Engineer in Test II, you will be responsible for:
Developing automation code in Java and TypeScript to build test frameworks, improve functionality and automate testing infrastructures
Overseeing the scope of release changes and owning the responsibility of E2E testing
Bringing innovation from the marketplace, contributing to the wider community, and striving for innovation
Being a collaborative and proactive member of the teams in Krakow, US and other global teams
Do what you love
To be successful in this role you will:
Have experience developing code in Java or Python
Have experience in Automation Testing, Playwright, Web API Testing, and familiarity with TestNG and/or JUnit frameworks
Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the internet, including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, HTML, and SSL protocols
Demonstrate working knowledge of integration, end-to-end testing as well as regression testing
