Job Description

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

  • Drive strong customer focus by working closely with internal stakeholders, peers and cross functional on equipment deliveries, in-country part needs, planning, parts escalation, and inventory management.

  • Overcome roadblocks to ensure shipments are made in line with internal and external customer’s requirements, company policy, international trade regulation.

  • Responsible for On-Time Delivery, Cycle Time, Warehouse KPIs with a keen focus on continuous improvement

  • Trace and track international freight for urgent shipments, accelerate where possible and ensure mitigation of potential delays. Manage last mile domestics as required.

  • Monitor and execute shipments clearance for Import and Export for Parts / Equipment Distribution. Work closely with broker and engage appropriate functions (regulatory affairs, customs, engineering, supply chain, etc.) to provide supporting documents to enable clearance.

  • Align with regional teams to implement frameworks, processes, and systems to improve logistics operations.

  • Lead or participate in process, productivity, and lean improvements initiatives and support any other duties as assigned by Operations & Logistics Leaders

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Minimum diploma above or Bachelor’s degree in logistics and supply chain or similar disciplines

  • Minimum 5 years of experience working in logistics, supply chain/ warehouse management, customs and freight. Proficient with Incoterms and international logistics.

  • Proactive, high sense of urgency, able to work independently, willing to learn & results focused.

  • Solid command English with strong interpersonal skills.

  • Capable to meet deadlines in a fast paced, dynamic environment.

  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Power point).

  • Problem solving requires strong quantitative analysis skills

  • Maintaining and developing relationships with current, new and potential service providers.

  • Work cross-functionally with sourcing, operations, supply chain to identify improvement opportunities to achieve Variable Cost Productivity targets.
