Fluor Food Services Specialist, Senior in Uganda
Provides food preparation, meal service and related support services as assigned. Must be a cook/chef. Prepares foods and
beverages according to proper food preparation procedure and standards, including temperature
guidelines. Responsible for preparing dining room areas, serving lines, counters, stands, and special dining event areas. Maintains cafeteria serving lines and replaces and/or refills consumables. Responsible for washing and sorting dishes, utensils, linens, and equipment. Performs general housekeeping duties in and around the dining facility, kitchen and storage areas. Responsible for
understanding food preparation terminology, the safe operation of kitchen equipment and tools, and basic
cooking and recipe conversion techniques. May provide task level guidance to less experienced personnel. May be assigned ordering, inventory, material handling, training and related functions.
As directed by management, may supervise employees or subcontractor personnel in accordance with the “General Supervisory Duties and Responsibilities” addendum.
Position may be located in a wide variety of environments, from conventional indoor office workspace toproject worksites with harsh, working and living conditions.
To ensure compliance with safety, health and security requirements in the contract, employee will
possess the ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language at the intermediate level as
