We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable expert who is searching to do what they'll love - resolving merchandise issues! Do you have experience in Accounts Payable? Do you love food? The qualified individual has at least 2 years of full-cycle Accounts Payable experience and is a raving fan of the Trader Joe's concept. A high school degree is required. This role is based in our office in Monrovia, California.

The Accounts Payable Merchandise Problem Resolution crew member is responsible for the review, resolution, or escalation as appropriate of all issues relevant to an assigned group of merchandise vendors.

The Accounts Payable Merchandise Problem Resolution is responsible for:

  • Auditing invoice entries for accuracy prior to payment issuance

  • Performing processes necessary to produce weekly check run

  • Assisting Merchandise Processors with vendor research and problem resolution

  • Responding to vendor inquiries and communicating issues to Supervisor if necessary

  • Assisting Supervisor with special projects as required

  • Working collaboratively with other departments

The Requirements are:

  • High school degree

  • Two or more years of experience in a full life-cycle accounts payable environment

  • Experience with SAP a plus

  • Good written and oral communication skills required

  • Must be a team player with the ability to work well with others
