Position Summary Under general supervision performs clerical, inventory, and payroll functions at the Platte West Water Production Facility. Duties include, but are not limited to, typing, filing, scanning, payroll, distributing mail, and answering telephones/greeting guests of the facility. Education
Required - High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
Licenses, Certifications and/or Testing
Required - Have and maintain a valid driver’s license Upon Hire

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Machine speed of 35 wpm; those meeting 35 wpm and with a high degree of accuracy may be given preference. (Advanced proficiency)
Proficiency with personal computers, tablets and/or other electronic devices including, but not limited to, enterprise-wide software (i.e., SAP, Workforce) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word). (Advanced proficiency)
Ability to learn new or upgraded computer software as required. (Entry proficiency)
Working knowledge and experience with office equipment to include, but not limited to, telephones, fax machines, scanners, CD readers, paper shredders, copiers and printers. (Intermediate proficiency)
Previous experience maintaining paper and electronic filing systems. (Intermediate proficiency)

Essential Functions
Process, document and record daily payroll. Ensure accuracy and correctness of time and code entry into the payroll system by verifying charge numbers, as well as work/absence codes along with clock in/out verifications using Workforce.
Maintain and organize payroll records.
Investigate and respond to timekeeping inquiries employees and supervisors; work closely with Payroll to resolve timekeeping questions and issues; and process temporary salary adjustment forms.
Order and receive supplies using the SAP System. Contact vendors as necessary.
Answer the telephone and direct calls to appropriate Facility staff.
Receive deliveries and greet/direct Facility visitors.
Sort and distribute the mail from both internal and external carriers.
Maintain office files both hardcopy and electronic as necessary.
Type letters, reports, and forms as required.
Prepare reports on wellfield and Plant production, power, treatment chemical usage, and other laboratory reports from data supplied by others.
Create and provide monthly report on status/balance of all Facility Purchase Orders.
Maintain an adequate inventory of office, lavatory, and safety supplies.
Maintain records on inventory for diesel/gasoline on a weekly/monthly basis and provide to other Divisions/Departments as required.
Provide biweekly report on employee PTO balances for Platte West supervisory team review, use, and record.
Coordinate and schedule annual Hazmat and Respiratory Fit testing for all Platte West staff using vendor provided by Safety Department.
Convert all Facility files from hard copy to digital for electronic storage, backup, and data retrieval.
Drive a District vehicle as required.
