Position Overview  

We are seeking a talented Adobe Front End Tech Lead to join our dynamic team. As the Adobe Front End Tech Lead, you will play a pivotal role in driving the design and development of front-end solutions using Adobe Edge Delivery Services (EDS) and associated Adobe technologies. You will lead a team of developers, collaborating closely with stakeholders to deliver exceptional digital experiences that align with business objectives.

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of front-end developers in the design, development, and implementation of scalable and performant front-end solutions using Adobe Edge Delivery Services (EDS).

  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including UX/UI designers, content strategists, and backend developers, to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

  • Architect efficient and reusable front-end systems and components that drive complex web applications within the EDS framework.

  • Ensure adherence to best practices in front-end development, including accessibility, performance optimization, and responsive design.

  • Mentor and guide team members on technical issues, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Drive innovation by researching new tools, technologies, and techniques in Adobe front-end development.

  • Oversee the integration of third-party applications and services into EDS solutions.

  • Provide technical leadership and support during all phases of the project lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.

     

    Required Qualifications

  • Must be able to work EST hours

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.

  • 5+ years experience as a front-end developer with a strong emphasis on Adobe Edge Delivery Services (EDS) and related Adobe technologies.

  • Experience with EDS’ Document-based publishing and Helix5.

  • Proven track record with EDS development in building reusable components, content blocks, and solving complex delivery challenges.

  • Solid understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).

  • Extensive knowledge of EDS development, including component building, templating, and integration with delivery frameworks.

  • Experience in architecting and implementing EDS solutions that are scalable, secure, and performant.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead a team, prioritize tasks, and work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Adobe certification (e.g., Adobe Certified Expert) in Edge Delivery Services or related technology is a plus.

  • Experience with agile methodologies and DevOps practices is preferred.

     

    The US average base salary range for this full-time contract position is $120,000 - $160,000. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations, but they are subject to change based on the following factors: role, experience level, education/certification, job-related skills, and working location. Please note that some states within the US have pay/hiring laws that may affect the salary range listed above.
