About this role

In this role you will support the development and delivery of Source to Pay (StP) Solutions reporting, insights, data quality analytics, and exception management support for enterprise Dow. Works within defined processes and procedures or methodologies and may help determine the appropriate approach for new assignments.

Works with the business process team and other functional SMEs to define business needs and provide consulting support for future improvements and functionality with a business process area. Plays a key role throughout the project, including requirements, designs, testing, implementation, training and end-user support. Works independently, receives minimal guidance.

Responsibilities / Duties

  • Provides key functional knowledge and expertise within the team and understand stakeholder operations.

  • Creates, test, and implement of new Purchasing reports

  • Interface with Enterprise Data and Analytics team for DSR development

  • Participates as needed in testing to progress testing.

  • Identifies and escalates issues to manage risk and ensure on time solution delivery.

  • Identifies, participates or leads business process continuous improvement opportunities, DSS systems and applications improvements or efficiencies.

  • Serves as the Subject Matter Expert for functional area providing escalation level support to end users.

  • Partners cross functionally with other teams to ensure work process and functional integration.

  • Leverages knowledge and skills to help manage risk and provide mitigation solutions.

  • Monitors operational metrics during delivery of corporate initiatives to ensure seamless hand off.

  • Delivers high level of Change Management Knowledge to minimize impact with project implementation.

  • Delivers advanced analytics and reporting support for their assigned Procurement strategy and/or category of spend including insights.

  • Provides support for the development of metrics, analyses, and reporting; delivering KPI metrics and scorecard reporting, providing procure to pay analyses and support, in addition to responding to planned and ad hoc requests as assigned.

  • Monitors data quality reports for trends and coordinates data quality improvements with appropriate data owner, as needed

  • Analytical skills

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree (Relevant Discipline)

  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.

  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerBI, and other data mining tools.

  • Fluent spoken and written English. Strong communication and presentation skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft office (MS Word, Power Point, Microsoft Excel etc)

Preferred Skills

  • Hand-on experience with SAP (or similar ERP), OTM, Ariba and Zycus is a plus.

  • Exposure to Chemical Industry or other manufacturing companies

  • Awareness to Six Sigma, Lean principles

Additional notes
