Salary:$35,367
Applicants will be required to complete the MVCC application as well as the Oneida County Civil Service application, and be approved by the County, in order to be considered for this position.

The College is looking for exceptional colleagues to join the MVCC community. We are currentlyseeking full-time Building Maintenance Workers in our Facilities and Operations department. Building Maintenance Workers will perform general building and grounds maintenance and housekeeping duties.

Available shifts:
Utica Campus
1st Shift - Tuesday through Saturday | 5:30 AM to 2:00 PM
1st Shift - Sunday through Thursday | 5:30 AM to 2:00 PM
2nd Shift - Monday through Friday | 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM
Rome Campus
1st Shift - Monday through Friday | 6:00AM to 2:30PM
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications: Either:
(A) Graduation for a regionally accredited of New York State registered college or university with an Associate’s Degree in construction, engineering technology, or a closely related field; OR
(B) Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma AND two (2) years of experience in custodial, building maintenance, or grounds maintenance activities; OR
(C) Three (3) years of experience in custodial, building maintenance, or grounds maintenance activities.
*Note: Verifiable part-time and/or volunteer experience as described above will be pro-rated toward meeting full-time experience requirements.
