Consulting Manager, Supply Chain & Procurement Services

Position will start off based in Vallejo, CA for 6 months and up to 3 years, with the potential to relocate to St. Petersburg, FL or Chicago, IL

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic professional to join our team as a Consulting Manager in Supply Chain & Procurement Services. As a Consulting Manager, you will lead multiple, strategic-level programs and work closely with our clients to deliver strategic solutions that optimize their supply chain and procurement operations, driving significant value and achieving sustainable business outcomes. You will be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) and highest level of escalation for the client.

As a Consulting Manager, you will play a crucial role in shaping our clients' success by providing expert guidance, leading engagements, and driving impactful change within their supply chain and procurement functions.

What can you expect to do?

  • Expert in understanding of supply chain and procurement functions and ability to deliver programs in the area independently or by leveraging the team.

  • Independently lead 1-3 supply chain advisory or category management programs.

  • Lead a team of junior team members without bias.

  • Mentor team members and provide effective feedback for their development.

  • Ensure adherence to SLAs and KPIs agreed with customers.

  • Understand contractual obligations with clients and drive the team to deliver.

  • Understand client’s supply chain and procurement related problems and prepare recommendations.

  • Leverage existing Jabil supply chain expertise to deliver strategic work.

  • Lead strategy development for organizations or categories.

  • Analyze & cleanse complex data sets and provide meaningful insights.

  • Independently perform analysis of complex data sets.

  • Create story board and present to mid-level to senior level client stakeholders.

  • Leverage different supply chain technologies to deliver assignments.

  • Prepare analytic dashboards using tools like PowerBI.

  • Expert in performing market research to identify trends, benchmarks & best practices in the supply chain industry.

  • Identity opportunities to drive value add to clients & cross-selling opportunities for Jabil.

  • Develop project plans using MS-Projects or Excel. Use CPM to highlight risks.

  • Perform various analysis like SWOT, PESTLE, etc and six sigma methodologies during the program.

  • Build relationships with mid to senior-level client stakeholders.

  • Ensure the project team adheres to project timelines as agreed with the leadership.

  • Highlight risk and issues to manager in case of deviation from project planSupport solution design during the business development process.

  • Provide recommendations to internal leadership for enhancing service offerings in-line with market demands.

What is the experience needed to be successful in this role?

  • Bachelor's degree required, in Supply Chain Management or a related field preferred. Master’s degree preferred.

  • 7-9 years of experience in Supply Chain and/or Procurement required with experience in category management, strategy development, procurement transformation, and supply chain optimization preferred.

  • 2+ years of experience in people management.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather and interpret data effectively.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with clients and internal teams.

  • Knowledge of supply chain and procurement principles, practices, and industry trends.

The pay range for this role is $107,522 - $193,540. Job-related, non-discriminatory factors used to determine the actual offered rate include qualifications and experience, geographic location, education, external market data, and consideration of internal equity. The anticipated close date of this job requisition is: September 06, 2024.

As part of the total rewards package, this position is eligible for a short-term incentive based on performance. In addition, Jabil offers benefits to enhance your health, wealth, and resilient self.
