About the role

The role of Developer II, Data Analytics plays a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining data analytics solutions for the organization. Responsibilities include designing data models, developing data pipelines, conducting data analysis and visualization, and optimizing performance to ensure the efficient performance of the data analytics systems. This individual plays a key role in evaluating business processes, implementing strategies, supporting client demands, and collaborating with leadership to provide insights that drive better decision-making within the organization.

What you will be doing

  • Strategic Oversight: Oversee the entirety of a business analysis system and suggest large-scale strategies to improve efficiency and profitability.

  • Mentoring and Leadership: Mentor junior staff, provide high-level business optimization strategies, and contribute significantly to organizational decision-making and strategy.

  • Data Analysis and Visualization: Analyze financial and operational information to identify trends and patterns. Design and develop executive dashboards using Microsoft SQL PowerBI Based on business requirements, create dashboards and reporting systems.

  • Automation and System Improvements: Automate data imports using SQL and VBA. Review and suggest improvements for system operations. Specify technical requirements to assist in building data pipelines. Use tools like Python, R and SQL to develop, test and maintain dashboards and interfaces.

  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with management, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to meet business needs. Communicate project guidelines effectively.

  • Data Quality Assurance: Monitor data quality and troubleshoot database issues to ensure data integrity.

How you will be making an impact

About you

  • 4 years in business analysis, business operations, or similar roles.

  • Business Improvement: Ability to identify and implement opportunities for business improvement.

  • Technical Skills: Expertise in Microsoft SQL, business operation and management tools, data analysis tools and techniques, knowledge of financial modeling and forecasting tools, and understanding of technical processes is required.

  • Documentation: Proficiency in documenting and applying business requirement guidelines.

  • Experience with Microsoft 365 PowerBI, Microsoft SQL administration, and SAP data models is preferred.

  • Familiarity with agile and project management best practices.

  • Effective collaboration and critical thinking skills.
