Lincoln Tech is hiring experienced Diesel Truck and Trailer Technicians as Instructors for our new hybrid Diesel Technology and Chassis program. Responsibilities of a Diesel Truck and Trailer Technician Instructor

• Teach and provide hands-on training in Diesel Technology in our fully equipped facility

• Facilitate and effectively deliver Lincoln Tech accredited course curriculum

• Support and motivate student growth, professionalism, and accountability

• Evaluate and communicate progress with students

• Keep accurate records of attendance and grades, and address management concerns

• Teach students about the importance of safety and compliance

• Maintain containers and chassis to safety standards

• Participate actively with WFL and partner departments to support goals

• Prepare students for a successful career in the field of Diesel Technology and Chassis/Container repair and maintenance.

  Requirements of a Diesel Truck and Trailer Technician Instructor

• 3+ years’ experience in:

• Diesel Truck repair and maintenance

• Welding - certification preferred

• Reefer / Trailer / Chassis repair and maintenance

• Proficient in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

• Occasional travel

• Ability to obtain TWIC card

• High school diploma/GED

  Certifications Preferred :

• IICL

• FMCSA

• Refrigerant Handling license

• Welding certification
