ICONMA, LLC Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Project Manager in United States
About the Role: We are seeking an Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Project Manager Specialist to support the Hill Air Force Base (HAFB) Little Mountain Test Facility (LMTF In this role, you will develop, plan, implement, and assess EHS management systems, testing, and processes in accordance with Client and US Air Force requirements. Key Responsibilities:
Lead EHS interactions with regulatory agencies, US Air Force, and Client leadership.
Evaluate new technologies and processes to develop strategies for reducing workplace hazards and environmental impacts.
Provide inputs to EHS education and training materials and facilitate training classes.
Support vendor, contractor, and supplier activities for EHS compliance.
Lead EHS program reviews, investigate incidents, develop corrective action plans, and report results.
Contribute to the development of new job practices, techniques, and standards.
Ensure solutions align with Client and Air Force objectives.
Evaluate, interpret, and advise on the impact of emerging issues, regulations, and legislation.
Draft local EHS programs for consistent risk reduction and compliance.
Facilitate risk management decisions with management.
Participate in teams to implement and maintain EHS processes for new business requirements.
Support internal customers on EHS processes, programs, issues, and requirements.
Review vendor, contractor, and supplier activities for EHS compliance.
Required Skills: 4-6 years of EHS experience in the following
Ordnance operations
Ionizing and non-Ionizing Radiation
Lasers
Occupational Safety (Fall Protection, Machine Guarding, Confined Space, Electrical Safety, Factory Automation, Hazard Communication, Hearing Conservation, PPE)
Crane Systems (Floor operated Overhead)
Material handling equipment (Forklifts)
Mobile elevated work platforms
Systems Safety
Education / Experience:
Bachelor’s degree and typically 6 or more years of related work experience, or a Master’s degree and typically 4 or more years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
