ICONMA, LLC Failure Analysis Engineer in United States
Failure Analysis Engineer Location: Sunnyvale, CA Duties:
Troubleshooting and failure analysis of electronic circuits, both analogue and digital.
Will be working primarily in the lab 80% and reporting on findings 20% of the time.
Will be working with 6 other engineers and 4-5 techs in the lab.
Understanding of schematics and how the components of a circuit function.
Proficient in Word, Powerpoint, Excel, and Access.
Knowledge of the common failure modes of electronic components and assemblies.
Ability to design, build, and assemble prototype circuits for test fixtures.
Document quality issues and performance measures for management review.
May liaise with external vendors.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering required
Looking for entry level candidates who understand electrical processes and circuitry.
Prefer Electrical Engineering degree but will consider Biomed if the candidate has electrical experience.
EE degrees with other types of experience such as manufacturing will also be considered as long as experience is electrical in nature.
Must have good communication skills and be proficient with Office Suite.
Recent grads with no experience are okay because the candidate will be trained on process.
Must understand electronic circuitry.
