The Field Marketing Lead position is a remote position open to qualified candidates nationwide.
Responsible for leading the development and execution of complex, multifaceted marketing plans and projects for the BioLife network of 100+ US plasma centers. This position will oversee all field related marketing activity for the BioLife network of centers including the development and roll-out of network best practices, the planning and execution of marketing activity and the management of communication with the centers. The position will oversee a team of Field Marketing Representatives. This role will collaborate closely with other marketing analytics, digital marketing, pricing, finance colleagues as well as Operations Field Leaders to ensure marketing strategies are executed in the field. Requires a deep understanding of best practices in hyper-local marketing, direct marketing and online/social marketing. The position will lead a team of Field Marketing Representatives and report to the Head of BioLife Marketing.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead strategy planning and execution for online and offline media across the network
Develop cost-effective media strategies to reach prospective donors leveraging both mass media and targeted outreach (e.g., print, TV, radio, online and social marketing).
Manage agency relationships, develop strategic marketing strategies, ensuring seamless and cohesive execution of creative deliverables that deliver against key online/offline targets within budget.
Serve as the liaison between Field Marketing Representatives and media agency to ensure that market dynamics, center characteristics and local media preferences are incorporated into outreach plan development.
Develop online and offline donor outreach strategies, campaigns/programs to increase new customer acquisition, conversion and retention through:
Developing and executing strategies, execution and measurements
Planning and execution of Local Center marketing/advertising strategies
Manage and direct the development and support execution of center-specific marketing activities:
In-center donor facing promotional materials
Operational support materials
Community involvement and B2B partnerships
Outreach strategies for different donor demographics
Hyper-local social marketing strategies and execution
Lead the marketing strategy and execution of opening 15-20 new centers per year through the development and execution of marketing plans with standard tools and processes
Partner with local teams to identify competitive strategies and develop counter tactics
Center support and communication
Facilitate communication between BioLife leadership, HQ, and the centers
Develop and monitor communication processes and internal customer relationships for information gathering, analysis and dissemination
Provide centers with information regarding corporate marketing strategies and activity
Filter up feedback from the centers, including but not limited to:
Recommendations for corporate marketing and advertising activity to support local/regional strategies
Effectiveness of fees and corporate marketing activity
Local market insights and competitive intelligence
In-center experience with a focus on improving donor acquisition and retention
Prioritize and coordinate ‘deep-dives’ into specific centers with issues relating to donor acquisition and/or win-back to understand root causes and develop action plans
Develop and lead marketing trainings for centers, where applicable
Ensure centers adhere to all BioLife marketing guidelines and standards
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor's degree with a Master’s Degree preferred
Minimum of five years-experience in field marketing, channel marketing and/or digital marketing
Solid strategic planning abilities and business acumen
Strong written and oral communication skills
Creative and resourceful; can resolve issues/problems that may come up in the field
Track record of handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and prioritizing efforts
Ability to develop relationships and build partnerships with various stakeholders at all levels of the organization
Change agent experience with ability to influence across the organization at all levels
May be required to travel (25-50%) for business reasons
Typical work environment involves office, meeting rooms and plasma collection center settings
