Our Client, an Automotive Manufacturing company, is looking for a Group Leader for their Detroit, MI location. Responsibilities:

  • Make sure your people are paid daily

  • Any Diamond 1 defect that belongs to you has an Op Sheet completed and turned in daily

  • Complete the population of the quality database

  • Turn in all Op Sheets to me until otherwise directed

  • Notes & breakpoints are put into GSIP daily

  • Op sheets, breakpoints, notes for any top 30 tracking is completed daily.

  • All Doc 8’s and lates are to delt with daily with status of 76A, etc.

  • Level 4 BPD bards are done daily

  • SIR’s are completed for all medical visits the day they occur

  • Be prepared for all Meetings with any expected deliverables

  • Monitor PM&C hourly/daily for TIP and throughput efficiency

  • Monitor GSIP hourly/daily and understand what is flowing in crystal ball and what potentially will be losers

  • Be engaged, take initiative & be resourceful

    Requirements:

  • Acknowledge text, radio call outs, emails

  • Respond to all Teams Chat’s with required response

  • Complete all “assigned” tasks

  • If you don’t know or need help, ask

  • Never assume

  • Hold yourself and your Team members accountable. Lead by example

  • Be fair, firm & consistent

  • Be accountable for your area. At this stage you should know all of your Team Members and what job elements are done at each station

  • Always know what is going on in your area

  • If you need to be off work for any reason, you must let the Shift Leaders and Business Manager’s know for approval

  • In this role you must be able to multitask and use the tools given too help with time management and daily structure

  • There are other tasks that will be added as the Team matures
