This position has a night shift of 9:00pm CT - 6:00am CT

What You'll Do

+ + V2X is seeking a Level I Support / Help Desk Technician to help support our IT Operation Director in a timely and professional manner. You will provide high-quality level III technical support to our clients and complete associated engineering tasks and projects in a timely and effective manner.

  • Key responsibilities:

  • Analyze & troubleshoot computer support problems as well as apply knowledge of software and hardware products and services to resolve problems of users.

  • Perform tasks of providing timely and accurate technical help desk support to users, employees, clients, etc.

  • Handle the responsibility of answering and responding to support emails, telephone calls, and voicemails.

  • Work with software developers, and our IT Infrastructure staff professionals to gather relevant information for reporting and record-keeping purposes.

  • Create and maintain troubleshooting and support documentation.

  • Assist our IT Infrastructure staff in designing and developing utilities for improving the support process.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education:

  • Associate's Degree in a related field and 1-2 years' of experience.

  • Experience:

  • Knowledge of desktop and laptop support

  • Working knowledge of network technologies and troubleshooting.

  • Operational knowledge of helpdesk ticket tracking and configuration management systems

  • Skilled with using Microsoft-based operating systems and servers, and Microsoft O356.

  • Other Requirements:

  • The position requires US Citizenship.

  • Able to work night shift; 9:00pm CT - 6:00am CT

  • Skills:

  • The successful candidate’s starting pay will be based on, but not limited to, their job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.

  • The following salary range is intended to display the value of the company’s base pay compensation and may be modified at the discretion of the company.

  • USD $ 45,000-80,000

  • Provided salary range minimum and maximum values correspond to variances between regional/geographic locations across the United States.
