Dowhas an exciting opportunity for anHR Technology Product Leader!This position can be located at any Dow site in North America, Latin America, or Europe. The Product Leader will enable a best in class employee experience through exceptional HR service delivery and support for processes specific tolearning, development, and talent managementsolutions/technologies. The Product Leader will own the relationship between Dow and the third party technology provider(s), particularly with respect to the version of the technology that Dow has opted to leverage for its use.

Job responsibilities / duties:

  • Define the vision for products related to learning and upskilling in collaboration with the Global Experience Leader (GEL), to build upon the overarching learning strategy. This includes potential products such asLearning Experience Platforms,Talent Marketplace,Career Hubs, etc.

  • Deliver product functionality to meet strategy and ensure product performance meets key indicators. Works with the Global Experience Leader (GEL) and Product leads for their assigned discipline to provide consulting support for future improvements and functionality within a business process area. Plays a key role in HR continuous improvement projects, including requirements, designs, testing, implementation, training and end user support.

  • Implementation/upgrade schedules to define deployment plans with minimal disruptions to operations with limited customization of product to ensure maximum leverage of new releases, as product matures over time.

  • Vendor management relationship for their product.

  • Ensure strategies are in place for full product lifecycle management.

  • Provide consultation, guidance and recommendations for how the business processes could change to maximize development tools implementation.

  • Ensure comprehensive collection of requirements as input into a potential tool selection process (including but not limited to functional requirements, non-functional requirements, local legal & risk requirements).

  • Support solution program development to improve the employee experience, balanced with function-specific needs and drivers.

  • Engage with third party contacts to establish, develop and review the suite of services available to Dow.

  • Identify opportunities of new DSS systems and applications that have potential process improvements and/or efficiencies.

  • Collaborate with EA, LAS, AS, other product leaders and functional technology leaders to ensure the appropriate application and configuration of HR Technologies.

  • Investigate, understand, and advise on enabling technologies and how they can work within Dow's business environment.

  • Agile Process Owner & "Functional Team" Product Owner for Azure DevOps.

  • Audit Responsibilities.

  • Management of certain vendor portals.

  • Change management approvals.

  • Highest level of escalation for any case related to learning systems (L4 SN).

    Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degreeorrelevant military experience at a U.S. E6 rank or Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class or higher.

  • A minimum of 6 years of relevant industry experience is required.

  • For U.S. Applicants: A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior work experience in a variety of roles across the HR or Information Technology fields.

  • Experience implementing large learning experience platforms, talent market places, or career hubs.

  • Experience with Agile portfolio or program management.

  • Strong influential and people leadership skills; builds successful relationships and thrives in diverse networks and working teams.

  • Drives issues to resolution while keeping responsibility and accountability in the right place, and maintaining an atmosphere of collaboration.
