Summary This cyber workforce position is being filled under the Direct Hire Authority for Certain Personnel of the Department of Defense via delegated authority by the Office of the Secretary of Defense. Responsibilities The position reports to the Customer Relations Branch Manager (OITR), Office of Information Technology (OIT), and Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA). Responsible for leading efforts to deliver ServiceNOW solutions for the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) and influencing the implementation, processes and on-going support of the ServiceNow platform. Deploys all cloud resources in a DoD environment that requires very high availability. Performs configuration management and disaster recovery tasks throughout the cloud environment. Leads meetings and discussions with employees and technical personnel to plan, test, implement, maintain, and modify DCAA IT technical strategies and solutions. Coordinates Information Assurance/Cybersecurity incident responses with first responders and Agency Information Assurance (IA) Officer(s) Performs day-to-day oversight of IT contractors on services and issues to ensure contracted performance is consistent with terms and conditions of the contract. Attention to Detail- experience reviewing my own information technology-related work or data and have been asked by others to review their work or data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency with standards. Customer Service- experience maintaining relationships with customers, assessing current information technology needs of customers, and developing or identifying information technology products and services that are tailored to meet customer needs. Oral Communication- briefing mid-level management and IT staff on the status of information technology systems, projects, or daily operations, including the communication of technical information to a non-technical audience. Problem Solving- identifying alternatives to address complex information technology-related issues by gathering and applying information from a variety of sources that provide a number of potential solutions. In addition to meeting the basic requirement, you must have one year specialized experience at the GS-12 or equivalent level. Specialized experience is that which has prepared the applicant to do the work of this position, and must be in the IT area of computer Cloud specialist; designing, planning and managing applications and system integration/migration with a cloud environment, and serving as a ServiceNow Administrator. Information Assurance Certification: As a condition of employment, the selectee must possess, or attain within 6 months, an information Assurance Technician Level 2 certification (Comptia Security+, GSEC, SSCP) IAW DOD 8570.01. You must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance eligibility at the Top Secret level. Drug Testing: You will be subject to random drug testing. Telework: Telework availability will be based upon the mission requirements and supervisory determination.
