Queen's Health System Kahi Mohala Clinical Coordinator (Full-Time, Day, 40) in United States
RESPONSIBILITIES
Starting Pay: $112,523.00 to $140,654.00 annual salary.
The starting pay displayed above may be higher commensurate with experience.
I. JOB SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Plans, develops, implements, and coordinates activities for designated programs to ensure:
o Delivery of high-quality patient care and services
o Effective planning and coordination of resources
o Compliance with contractual, regulatory and accreditation requirements
o Achievement of program goals and objectives
o Staff education and training
• Responsible for educational programs at The Queen’s Medical Center – Kahi Mohala (QMC-KM). Serves as on-site coordinator for learning activities and liaises with system content experts to ensure alignment with system processes while meeting specialty/site-specific needs.
• Serves as consultant and resource within specialty area(s), providing clinical and technical guidance and contributing to continuous quality improvement activities.
II. TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
• Essential: finger dexterity, seeing, hearing, and speaking.
• Frequent: walking, standing, sitting.
• Occasional: lifting up to ½ pound static gripping of an object for prolonged periods stooping/bending, climbing stairs, walking on uneven ground, lifting and carrying usual weight of 1 pound up to 5 pounds, reaching above, at and below shoulder level, pushing and pulling up to 3 pounds of force.
• Infrequent: kneeling, pushing and pulling up to 35 pounds, horizontal, lifting/carrying up to 30 pounds, floor to waist up to 30 pounds, waist to shoulder up to 5 pounds, and bending.
III. TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:
• Not substantially subjected to adverse environmental conditions.
• Exposed to both inside and outside environmental conditions.
• Exposed to moving mechanical parts, chemicals, communicable diseases, and body fluids.
• Working environment is sometimes stressful due to workload.
• Frequently works on multiple tasks and priorities at one time.
IV. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
A. EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE:
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• Master’s degree or Doctoral degree in Nursing or related health field preferred.
• Current Hawaii State license as a Registered Nurse.
• Certification in the specialty area of practice preferred.
• Must meet and maintain credentialing requirements with the State of Hawaii Child & Adolescent Mental Health Division (CAMHD).
• Current BLS certification.
B. EXPERIENCE:
• Three (3) years recent nursing experience in behavioral health.
• One (1) year experience in an education or leadership position preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lead interdisciplinary teams and manage projects/programs.
• Familiarity with specialty-area requirements (i.e. CAMHD, TJC) preferred.
