The Lead Finance Systems Architect will partner closely with our Sr. Principal Financial Systems Architect, our Finance Stakeholders and our Digital partners to build capabilities for accurate and data-driven insights. The Architect will contribute to the optimization of Finance and upstream systems in the fulfillment of business needs, and leverage technology to support the analysis and presentation of critical business data.
• Collaborates with Finance Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to develop and implement master data management strategies, governance frameworks, and data quality improvement initiatives Using business requirements as a guide, determine which technology or solution would best meet those goals
• Develop and execute best practices for enterprise reporting and analysis
• Identify potential adverse impacts resulting from planned IT changes to mitigate technical debt issues with existing solutions
• Assist IT project resources in the design and analysis of data integrations and conversions
• Build strong partnerships with Business Analysts, key business leaders and IT leaders to design technology solutions to meet Finance business needs
• Keep current in technology changes/availability and identify opportunities for Finance to leverage them (i.e., machine learning, AI)
• Stay knowledgeable and adhere to all IT security and change management protocols and procedures
• Identify and recommend process improvements and automation opportunities for FP&A processes
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree with a technical concentration
• 5 years minimum experience with finance systems and supporting finance business needs
• 3-5 years exposure to applications development projects. Good knowledge of applications, their technical interfaces and their operations.
• Knowledgeable in the concepts of system integrations
• Understanding of cloud-based Applications and services relevant to FP&A (Anaplan, Azure, Data Bricks)
• Experience in data analysis leveraging Azure Synapse Analytics and Databricks
• Proficiency with SQL or comparable query language, or comparable data analysis background
• Comprehensive Power BI expertise to help business teams efficiently leverage and optimize their data models for better insights
• Strong analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills; ability to weigh various suggested technical solutions against the original business needs and choose the most effective solution
• Demonstrated ability to propose short and long-term product roadmaps
• Ability to simplify technical concepts and communicate them to business users
• Broad technical aptitude; ability to learn new systems and information quickly
Other Skills and Qualifications
• Experience with agile project management preferred
• Experience in database technologies (Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server) preferred
• Strong analytical skills using data from Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics are preferred
• Effective verbal and written communication skills

The pay range for this position is $99,800 to $143,450, however, base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location. This position is also eligible for a short-term incentive and a long-term incentive as part of total compensation.
