Department of the Navy/Assistant for Administration LEAD FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in United States

Summary You will serve as a LEAD FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the Business Operations Management Department, Reasource Management Division OCHR OPERATIONS. Responsibilities You will set priorities and schedules work as necessary to ensure effective and expeditious accomplishment of priority work without adverse effect on regular and recurring work. You will assign and monitor work to subordinates based on employee capabilities, priorities and difficulty and provide technical oversight, advice and instruction You will identify and coordinate employee developmental and training opportunities and hear and resolve employee complaints, referring serious complaints lacking resolution to higher level supervisors. You will provide technical, administrative, analytical and managerial assistance for programs or projects. You will manage administrative tasks, tracking of budgets, and ensuring that the program meets established organizational goals. You will review all purchases are allowable and appropriate and counsel cardholders within their span of control regarding regulations, misuse and delinquency. You will review all questionable transactions, resolving any questionable activities or elevating them to the next higher-level authority. You will lead a group of employees in meeting financial goals of the organization. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing technical guidance on financial management policies, procedures and practices; formulating and analyzing financial plans, reports and budgets; AND administering support activities (e.g., purchase/travel card programs) for an organization.
