Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in applicable field or 5 years equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal, leadership, problem solving, and organizational skills.
Maintains attention to detail and utilizes sound judgment.
Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of the American’s with Disabilities ACT and Section 508 Compliance
Knowledge of VPATs
Ability to remediate a Word or PPT document
Essential Duties/Tasks
Learning Management System Administration
Plans, organizes, directs, and coordinates day-to-day activities of the Learning Management System, including developing and implementing processes and procedures for adhering to ADA and Section 508 compliance
Assists in developing strategic plans and goals to support the program.
Assists with the development and production of materials designed for the program
Assists with yearly budgetary and contract processes. Prepares vouchers, purchase orders and requisition and coordinate with accounting personnel and other support staff
Provide end-user support.
Maintain accurate user database.
Maintain Manager and Approver accounts.
Manage and review daily account requests.
Oversee and compile LMS usage data for reporting purposes
Perform routine system maintenance.
Forecast and lead LMS enhancement projects.
Stay abreast of system updates and new features.
Present at State conferences to include developing and conducting leadership training, seminars and workshops
Liaison between TCALL and PD Portal users.
Monitor LMS adherence to the ADA and Section 508 Compliance
Ensure that the LMS meets WCAG 2.1 as updates and enhancements are implemented.
Ensure that courses and accompanying materials published in the LMS meet WCAG 2.1
Responsible for periodic accommodations requests from LMS end users
Information Dissemination
Supports a portion of the TCALL Grant Program
Responsible for coordinating the workflow for the LMS team.
Present at monthly meetings for the LMS team.
Attend and contribute to monthly TCALL Leadership Team meetings on occasion.
Assist with creating and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) related to the LMS.
LMS Content Production
Organizes the team that performs post-production on recorded webinars and publishes them into the LMS.
Coordinate with employees across different teams to manage instructional design and publication of new asynchronous content.
Researches, develops and writes white papers, grant applications and prepares presentations. Maintains and develops communications between partners by attending meetings and conference calls.
Instructional design
- On an as-needed basis, assist with instructional design of new asynchronous courses or remediation of existing ones.
Zoom Account Administration
Oversee a multi-license Zoom account.
Maintain and manage account settings to ensure digital safety.
Stay abreast of system updates and new features.
Assist colleagues with Zoom troubleshooting.
Liaison with Conference hosting company for Zoom integration into LMS.
