Location: Rapid City, SD
Duration: 13 weeks
Description:
General Information:
Minimum Experience: 3+ years as a LPC in an Inpatient Behavioral Health
Beds: 52
Patient Types:
Inpatient Behavioral Health Facility – Children/Adolescents ages 5-17 and Adults
Behavioral Health patients – Depression, Anxiety, Suicidal Ideation, Schizophrenia, Psychosis, Adjustment Disorder
Required Certifications:
LPC South Dakota Licensure required
BLS is NOT required
CPI (required – can be obtained on site)
Skills required:
Time management, Team oriented, Patient Centered
Comfortability with running Group Therapy and Family Therapy are a MUST
Comfortability with de-escalation and being involved in Crisis situations
EPIC (preferred)
Education required:
Master’s Degree level with LPC
Support on the Unit:
LPC staffing during the week – would be 4th LPC (Mon-Fri)
Supervisor/Manager
Charting System: EPIC (preferred)
