Summary As a Realty Officer, you will be managing the Leasing Division with responsibility for multiple functions including, but not limited to, long-range planning, leasing, space planning, assignment, and utilization. Location of position: PBS, Leasing Division We are currently filling one vacancy inAlbany, NY; Buffalo, NY; Brooklyn, NY; Islip, NY; Manhattan, NY; Newark, NJ; San Juan PR; or Syracuse NY additional vacancies may be filled as needed. Responsibilities Exercises full responsibility and delegated authority for planning, managing, directing, coordinating, evaluating and executing the full range of the Division's programs in the support to real estate acquisition and lease acquisition program activities, including the broker contracts, out leasing, site acquisition, realty business and e­tools, market analysis, lease delegations, lease acquisition policy, realty policy and strategy matters, acquisition consultation, lease reviews and audits and realty performance measures. Provides input and recommendations concerning realty policy, space and site acquisition, out leasing, space management/utilization, workplace solutions, realty operations, customer support and significant trends, recurring problems, and similar management concerns as they impact the division work performed and the realty industry overall. Participates in a broad range of strategic planning, programmatic, space management and account management issues for the regional Public Building Service (PBS)organization. Establishes contacts with private industry to educate them on the realty operations and workplace solutions provided by PBS, and to establish an ongoing exchange of information to continually improve our working relationship with vendors and local business organizations. Such experience may include overseeing professional brokerage firms; providing direction and guidance on real estate acquisition and leasing problems and issues; applying the functions, policies, programs, procedures, regulations and laws associated with a realty acquisition and leasing program; and serving as a senior liaison with high level management officials Education Additional Information Bargaining Unit status: NONE Relocation-related expenses arenotapproved and will be your responsibility.
