Bring your 10+ years of experience in electrical systems engineering, with a strong grasp of electronic circuits, microcontrollers, and physical sensors. Proven expertise in designing hardware, including PCB design and assembly, is essential. You'll lead teams through the aerospace design lifecycle, ensuring all specifications, requirements, and reviews meet our high standards.
Familiarity with MIL-STD regulations and experience with various aircraft or satellite systems will set you apart. Excellent interpersonal skills are crucial as you'll engage directly with customers to ensure their needs are met, while basic coding experience in MATLAB or Python will aid your success. Knowledge of embedded software tools and complex system modeling is vital, alongside experience in using productivity tools like Git and Jira. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
10+ years in electrical systems engineering.
Strong knowledge of electronics circuits, micro-controllers, sensors, and rotating machinery.
Experience in electronics hardware design, PCB design, manufacture, and bringup.
Proven leadership in aerospace design life cycle.
Working knowledge of embedded controls.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Ability to work with customers to capture and quantify design impacts.
Experience with MIL-STD-461/704/810, DO-160, or similar standards.
Understanding of major aircraft or satellite systems (e.g., environmental control, powerplant, hydraulics, avionics).
Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Basic coding/scripting (MATLAB or Python).
Knowledge of system modeling and high-level controls.
Experience with embedded software tools/languages (C/C++, Dev Ops Flows, DO-178/254).
Experience with Altium Designer and SolidWorks.
Modeling experience with Simulink.
High voltage equipment design/testing experience.
Experience with motor controllers (PMSM with FOC).
Familiarity with productivity toolchains (git, confluence, JIRA, PLM/PDM, ERP).
